2. How to Request a Refund

  1. Send an email to support@ark-deck.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Email]"
  2. Include your PayPal transaction ID (found in your PayPal receipt email).
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours.
  4. Refunds are processed to your original PayPal account within 5–10 business days.

3. Refund Limitations

  • One refund per user: Each account is limited to one refund to prevent abuse. Subsequent subscriptions are non-refundable.
  • After 7-day window: Refund requests made after the 7-day period from the initial purchase date will not be honored.
  • Abuse or violation: Accounts terminated due to Terms of Service violations are not eligible for refunds.

4. Cancellation Process

4.1 How to Cancel

  • Cancel through your Account Settings page, or
  • Email us at support@ark-deck.com requesting cancellation.

4.2 What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
  • After the billing cycle ends, your account reverts to the Free plan.
  • Your data (projects, clips) remains accessible for 30 days after downgrade, then may be deleted to stay within Free plan limits.

5. PayPal Disputes

If you file a dispute or chargeback through PayPal instead of contacting us directly, please be aware that:

  • We encourage resolving issues directly with us first for faster resolution.
  • PayPal disputes may take 20–30 days to resolve.
  • Your account access may be suspended during the dispute investigation period.
  • We will cooperate fully with PayPal's resolution process and provide all relevant transaction records.

6. Transaction Records

For your protection and ours, we maintain accurate records of all transactions:

  • PayPal transaction ID and payment confirmation.
  • Subscription start date and plan type.
  • All billing cycle dates and amounts charged.
  • Refund request dates and processing status.
  • Cancellation dates and service expiry dates.
